If the Louisville real estate market is up, or if it’s down, I unfailingly get the same question from people I meet on a daily basis: “Greg, how’s the market?” I don’t think most people are asking because they are concerned with the state of my business, but rather, it is simply a topic that home owners, home sellers and home buyers alike are intrigued by.
Everybody wants to know how long homes are staying on the market, on average, whether looking at the city as a whole, or in smaller segments, such as the zip code they live in themselves. Or how about prices? Most people are concerned with how homes for sale are priced and how many properties are available right now in the Louisville real estate market.
To help answer these questions, I am constantly putting together charts and graphs like the one above, which just happens to show the median asking price of Louisville homes for sale.
